Positions

These guides cover the three ways a position comes into existence, changes hands and ceases to exist: a mint, a transfer and a burn. They are the operations in which the two gates of the protocol, eligibility and compliance, are applied.

1	08	Mint a position to an investor	Creates new units for an eligible investor. Issuance.
2	10	Transfer between investors	Moves units from one holder to another, directly or through a spender.
3	09	Burn a position	Destroys units held by an investor. Redemption.
